- Ryan and I have been married for just about 6yrs. We don't have any kids, I've been going to school for about a year and hope to have my bachelors degree in 2yrs. We currently live in Iwakuni, Japan, it's in the Yamaguchi Prefecture. We'll be living here for the next 3yrs until the Marine Corps moves us somewhere else(hopefully state side)

Hi! My name is Bridget and I found your blog online while doing a google search about Yokota Air Base. I hope you don't mind me reading your blog but I was really excited to see all the wonderful pics and videos of Japan. My husband is literally on a plane right now flying to Yokota and I will be meeting him there next month. I was so nervous when I first found out that was where we were going but now I'm excited. Do you have any advice for me about living in Japan? I'd really appreciate it!
Hi Bridget, I live in Iwakuni. Which is next to Hiroshima, but I've been to Yokota twice for work. Yokota is really big compared to Iwakuni and it's nice because you are so close to Tokyo. I think you'll really like Japan. Give me your e-mail address and I can tell ya more!
